NEW EVENT THIS OCTOBER!!!

Hello everyone and Eid Mubarak to my Muslim friends. It is a big holiday and I hope we all get to enjoy it. Last week I missed putting up a post and I sincerely apologize for that. It won’t happen again :-)

Today’s post brings us something entirely NEW!
For the first time, I wish to publicly announce that ColourmeAmba will be kicking-off a new event pretty soon. It is called ‘iDare.NotDread’.

About: iDare.NotDread is an event which sets to bring together young people with drive for Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise (ICE). It is a unique platform created to engage young people in inspiring talks and exceptional stories to help activate their ingenuity and potential within to step out and ‘do something’.

Goal: The event aims at providing the opportunity for young people to develop ideas, listen to talks to stimulate their curiosity, learn from experiences and gain some degree of empowerment to venture out into creating new opportunities for themselves. It is aimed at providing a suitable platform for young people to network, develop confidence, set out on their own and dare to be different. Lastly, it seeks to recreate today’s youth into active career owners rather than just passive job seekers.


The first session of iDare.NotDread is scheduled to begin much sooner than you think. It holds….

On:               Saturday, 26th October, 2013.

Venue:         Heinrich Boell Stiftung Suite, D10-D14, Rukayyat Plaza, Jabi, Abuja (A 3-Storey Building, Opposite Jabi Park. You cannot miss it!)

Time:           4PM – 6PM

Highlights: Live Talks; Talks on Projector; Jazz Music Interlude; Network! Network!! Network!!!
